Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a tender plant species of the group Aloe. It grows wild in topical dry climates around the world and it is cultivated for agriculture and medicinal uses. It can also be used for decorations in homes which grows beautifully indoors as a potted plant.
Aloe Vera is also used in skin care. It has several properties that are effective in treating different kinds of skin conditions. It can be applied topically to heal wounds and appease the skin, the treatment of hair and scalp problems and many more. These are the benefits of using Aloe Vera for skin care.
• Aloe Vera acts as a moisturizer, it moisturizeres the skin without giving it an oily felling. For women who uses mineral-based makeup, aloe vera acts as a moisturizer. It can be applied on the face to prevent the face and skin from drying. Aloe gel serves as an aftershave treatment as its healing properties can treat small cuts caused by shaving.
• Aloe Vera treats sunburns. It protects the layers of cells that covers the skin and helps recover its moisture. Because of it nutritional qualities and antioxidant properties, it helps the skin heal quicker.
• Aloe gel contains two hormones; Auxin and gibberellins. These two hormones provide wound healing and are anti inflammatory. Aloe is soothing and can reduce skin inflammations, itchiness and blistering while helping the skin to heal more rapidly.
• Everyone begins to worry about the appearance of fine lines and the loss of elasticity in their skin. Aloe Vera leaves contain a plethora of antioxidants including vitamine C and E that can help improve the skin’s natural firmness and keeps the skin hydrated.
